Wow, CDPA Scottish Highland Dancers...
had a GREAT weekend at the Central Florida Highland Games! Our Group Choreography won First Place! In addition there were lots of medals, ribbons, trophies and money won by our dancers. This was a first competition for our Emma Stuart, she did great and enjoyed the support and camaraderie of her fellow Scottish Dancers. I remember when her father first called the studio to sign Emma up for the 222s. He said, “one day she is going to be a Scottish Highland Dancer!” See her in the picture to the right with Austin and Isabella. On the Monday following the “games” CDPA hosted a workshop with 2 of the 3 judges from the weekend. It’s a great opportunity to get pointers and be able to ask questions of the judges.
